Fall 2016 CHESPRA Conference
The Fall 2016 CHESPRA Conference was held in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Nov. 3-4 at the Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel. More than 60 CHESPRA members and sponsors came together for two days of professional learning and networking.
Agenda items included:
- Legal update and talk about transgender policies
- Important face time with your state PIOs - updates from Charles Pyle of the Virginia Department of Education, and Gayle Secrist of the Maryland State Department of Education.
- How to successfully rebrand your district
- Roundtables featuring FOIA talk, tips and tools for the one-person PR shop, video ideas and more
