Elevating CHESPRA: Our Vision for the Year Ahead
Andrew Robinson

Dear CHESPRA Members:

I am honored to serve as the CHESPRA Board President for the upcoming year. With great enthusiasm, I take on this role along with the rest of our board.

Our strength lies in our diverse and dedicated membership; together, we can achieve remarkable things. As we move forward, I am committed to fostering an inclusive community where every voice is heard, every idea is valued and every member feels empowered to contribute to our chapter’s success.

Over the next year, our efforts will focus on the following areas:

  • Enhancing Professional Development: We will continue to provide top-tier professional development opportunities that address the evolving needs of school communications. This includes conferences, the Eat. Learn. Grow. professional development series and networking events designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to excel.

  • Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: It is imperative that we create an environment where all members feel welcome and valued. We are committed to promoting DEI initiatives that ensure our practices and policies reflect the diverse communities we serve.

  • Strengthening Communication: Effective communication is at the heart of what we do. We will work to enhance our communication channels, ensuring that information is accessible, timely and relevant. Your feedback is crucial and I encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas using the contact form on our website or by reaching out to anyone on the board.

  • Building Community: CHESPRA is more than an organization; it is a community. We will prioritize creating opportunities for meaningful connections, whether through in-person events or virtual gatherings. We aim to build a supportive network where members can share experiences, challenges and successes.

  • Advocating for Our Profession: We will continue to advocate for the vital role of school public relations professionals. By raising awareness of our contributions and the impact of our work, we can ensure that our voices are heard at the local, state and national levels.

I am excited about the year ahead. Together, we will build on our successes, tackle new challenges and continue to elevate the standards of excellence in our profession.

Thank you for your dedication to CHESPRA and for the work you do every day to support our schools and communities.

Sincerely,

Andrew P. Robinson
