Committees

The Nomination Committee is responsible for the chapter’s election and leadership recruitment process. The committee is led by the Immediate Past President and shall include a vice-chair (executive board member) and no fewer than three professional members. The committee will determine a meeting schedule with most of the work occurring December - May each year. This committee is an excellent opportunity for members to be involved in ensuring efficient and equitable elections and recruiting chapter leaders.

The Agenda Committee is led by the President and is responsible for three main tasks between December-March: brainstorm presentations/program content, identify presenters and review proposals. The Committee Chair presents the committee’s recommendations to the Executive Board for consent. The committee will also review Presenter Guidelines. This committee is an excellent opportunity for members to be involved and consider presenting.

The Conference Logistics Committee is charged with selecting the locations for CHESPRA conferences and providing logistics support. The committee is led by the President-Elect. The committee consists of approximately 4-6 meetings throughout out the year to determine locations and logistics.
